Hi, I'm Jo, a twenty-something year old NHS worker with a big task ahead of her!

Having bought my first home on the 21st July 2017 in the North West of England, I created this blog to document my journey of turning my house into a home. There's a lot that needs doing and some big challenges ahead, from building stud walls to painting the ceiling throughout the whole damned house three times (if you continue to read you'll understand why, *shivers*), so here's to following my journey through the good, the bad and the ugly!

I also love a good old mooch round car boot sales and charity shops, so I'll be sharing my bargain buys and furniture upcycling as well as the rest. I hope you enjoy!
